Solicitation Notice

Dear Prospective Quoter:
SUBJECT: Solicitation Number S-KS700-09-Q-0062
The American Embassy Seoul, Korea, has a requirement for a contractor to provide “Tree topping services for 53 overgrown trees at Yongsan Embassy housing area” of American Embassy Seoul, Korea. You are invited to submit a quotation. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) consists of the following sections:
1. Standard Form SF-18
2. Basic information, statement of work or specifications and technical qualifications.
3. Late quotation rules and evaluation method.
4. FAR and DOSAR clauses.
The Embassy plans to award a purchase order. You are encouraged to make your quotation competitive. You are also cautioned against any collusion with other potential offerors with regard to price quotations to be submitted. The RFQ does not commit the American Embassy to make any award. The Embassy may cancel this RFQ or any part of it.
Please read the RFQ carefully, and if you are interested, submit your quotation. Return the completed SF-18 to the address shown in Block 5a of the SF-18 by 16:00 p.m. on September 17, 2009. Oral quotations will not be accepted.
The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference on September 14, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at GSO conference room in the U.S. Embassy Seoul, Korea. If you intend to participate in the conference, you will be required to submit the completed GSO access request form (will be provided upon request) via fax to Cho, Yeong Yeon (Fax: 02-796-0516) no later than 16:00 p.m., September 11, 2009. Offerors are requested to limit the number of participants to two persons per company.
