SOLICITATION NOTICE

To: Prospective Offerors
Subject: Request for Quotations Number SKS700-12-Q-0005, Diesel Heating Oil Supply
Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Diesel Heating Oil Supply. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.
The U.S. Embassy Seoul intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
Quotations are due by December 22, 2011, at 10:00 AM.
A pre-quotation conference has been scheduled for December 8, 2011, at 02:00 PM at the GSO conference room of the U.S. Embassy Seoul, Korea. If you intend to participate in the conference, please contact Mr. Cho, Yeong Yeon (Tel: 02-397-4679, Fax: 02-796-0516) to make necessary arrangement for access to GSO conference room no later than 05:00 PM, December 2, 2011.
Quoters are requested to limit the number of participants to two (2) persons per company. Please be sure to bring the solicitation document with you to the conference. No extra copies will be available at the conference.
In order for a quotation to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:
1. SF-1449
2. Section 1, Block 23
3. Section 5, Representations and Certifications;
4. Additional information as required in Section 3.
