Consul General Press Conference on New Visa Intake Area

The Consul General of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul will hold a press conference on Thursday, April 7, 2005, at 11:15 a.m. to give the press a tour of the new visa intake area and a briefing about the Embassy’s efforts to improve visa services for Korean applicants.

The press conference will take place in the non-immigrant visa intake area on the south side of the American Embassy, across from the Korea Telecom Building, in Jong-no.

Journalists interested in attending the press conference should register by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2005. Please call the Press Office on 02-397-4637 to register. On Thursday, registered journalists should arrive by 11:00 a.m. to allow sufficient time for security screening and must bring their press card and photo I.D. with them. Cell phones, portable computers, and other electronic devices must be left at the security desk. Tape recorders and cameras will be permitted.
