U.S. Embassy Seoul Celebrates the Thanksgiving Holiday

On Friday, December 2, 2005 at 9:30 a.m., the Information Resource Center (IRC) of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul will hold its fifth Holiday Series Program in honor of Thanksgiving Day. “Thinking of American Values During the Thanksgiving Holiday Season” will feature a keynote talk by Joanne M. Martin, Cultural Affairs Officer, U.S. Embassy conducted via Digital Video Conference (DVC). Audiences in Seoul will be joined with participants at the American Corners in Daegu and Gwangju, and Cheon An University via DVC. The festivities will continue throughout the day with two American officers telling stories about their Thanksgiving memories. Thereafter, there will be a feedback discussion about the holiday series program, a Thanksgiving lunch and door prizes for the participants. Consecutive interpretation will be provided.

 

This program is free of charge and is open to the public. Media are welcome to attend.
