A: Those interested in becoming a panelist must attend at least two Embassy Youth Forums as an audience member before applying. Panelists are typically Korean youth aged 18-25 who are interested foreign relations and learning more about the United States. Selected applicants enter a ‘panelist pool’ – a group of 20-30 students who participate in the Embassy Youth Forum on a rotating basis depending on availability and personal interest in the Forum topic.
