Q: Who may attend the Embassy Youth Forum?

A:  The program is geared towards youth aged 18-25, but there is no strict age limit.  Remember that the Embassy Youth Forum is conducted completely in English. 

Q:  How do I attend the Embassy Youth Forum as an audience member?

A:  If you are interested in attending as an audience member, please email the following information to the Information Resource Center at ircseoul@state.gov:

The IRC staff will send a reply email within three days to confirm that we have received your RSVP.  Only those whose names are on the RSVP list will be able to attend the program.  Thank you for your interest in the Embassy Youth Forum!


Q: How do I become a panelist for the Embassy Youth Forum?

A: Those interested in becoming a panelist must attend at least two Embassy Youth Forums as an audience member before applying.  Panelists are typically Korean youth aged 18-25 who are interested foreign relations and learning more about the United States.  Selected applicants enter a ‘panelist pool’ – a group of 20-30 students who participate in the Embassy Youth Forum on a rotating basis depending on availability and personal interest in the Forum topic.  To apply to become a panelist, please complete the CV form and email it to the Organizing Committee at realpeopletalking@gmail.com.
