  • Highlights trade opportunities for U.S. suppliers of food and agricultural products by preparing and disseminating reports on the Korean market.
  • Advises U.S. suppliers on strategies to introduce their products into the Korean market.
  • Provides match-making services for U.S. suppliers and Korean importers.
  • Disseminates Trade Leads for Korean importers seeking U.S. products.
  • Organizes U.S. pavilions at leading Korean food, seafood, wine and spirits trade shows.
  • Publishes quarterly Korean language newsletter highlighting new to market U.S. products and U.S. suppliers seeking Korean distributors.
  • Recruits Korean buyers for trade missions to the United States.
  • Coordinates events and meeting schedules for U.S. trade missions to Korea.
  • Cooridnates food and beverage promotions at leading supermarkets and hotels.
  • Publishes daily Korea media monitoring report on agricultural issues in the news.

Commercial Service

  • Provides export counseling to U.S. companies on doing business in Korea and produces market research reports to help U.S. firms assess their export prospects and market potential.
  • Provides customized market research.
  • Helps U.S. companies find partners through Gold Key and other services.
  • Advocates for U.S. business interests in Korea by supporting U.S. companies’ efforts on specific projects and by addressing impediments to the Korean market.
  • Promotes U.S. companies using a variety of trade promotion programs including: trade missions from the U.S.; catalog shows marketing U.S. company literature; and customized promotional programs to meet individual U.S. companies’ needs.

  • Manages overall bilateral trade issues
  • Covers financial sector, civil aviation, and fisheries issues
  • Provides information on multilateral issues such as Korea’s relations with the OECD, APEC, and the WTO.
     

JUSMAG

Supports the Republic of Korea Government in the modernization and sustainability of its armed forces and work with the defense community towards a mutually beneficial armaments cooperation program.
