Press Conference on Enhanced U.S. Visa Procedures

U.S. Embassy Consul General Michael D. Kirby, and Director-General for Overseas Resident Affairs and Consular Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Lee Joon-gyu will hold a joint press conference at the end of the Second Visa Issues Working Group Meeting to discuss enhanced U.S. visa procedures on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the U.S. Embassy Information Resource Center in Nam-young-dong.

The Press Conference will begin at 2 p.m. Doors will open to the press at 1:30 p.m., and all press must arrive by 1:45 p.m. in order to allow sufficient time for security clearance and equipment check on entering the press conference site.

Journalists must bring their press card and photo I.D. with them. Interpretation will be provided throughout the event.
