Lisa Vershbow

B.A., Connecticut College, 1975, New London, Connecticut.  President of the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths, 1994-1996. 

In Korea, exhibition highlights include: “Jewelry for Men,” 2006, with Kookmin University, at the Lock Museum, Seoul.  Solo Show, 2006, Sun Gallery, Seoul, and “Re-Birth of the Artist’s Hand,” 2006 Seoul.  In America; “Four Years in Russia,” Solo, 2005, Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha, Nebraska, and “Metalwork ’05,” Washington D.C., Juror’s special recognition.  Russia exhibitions include; solo shows in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad and Nizhny Novgorod, 2002-2005.  Group shows; “Jewelry Avant-Garde,” 2002, State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, and “Two Capitals,” 2004, Moscow.  Honorary member of the Korean Society of Crafts, and speaker at their Fall Conference, 2006.  Member of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, 2004. 

Lisa lives and works in Washington D.C. when not abroad with her diplomat husband.
