The Information Resource Center (IRC), the U.S. Embassy’s reference and research provider, delivers information about U.S. policy and society to the Korean people.
Our goal is to provide specialized, accurate and authoritative information about the United States to Korean institutions and professionals. Materials in the IRC cover key subjects about the United States: its government, economy, society, culture and people.

Embassy Youth Forum: Real People Talking
A monthly discussion forum where American diplomats and interested Korean youth sit at the same table, voicing honest opinions on contemporary issues facing the U.S. and Korea.

Holiday Series
To celebrate American holidays and other special events, the U.S. Embassy schedules Holiday Series events for Korean youth and the public consisting of speakers, prizes and erformances.

Arranged by request, this interactive presentation program provides a dialogue with American diplomats, students and/or organizations.

IRC actively participates in and designs exhibitions and book fairs throughout the country. Holding these activities helped to reach out to local public and promoted various U.S. culture.

IRC Leadership Conference
IRC provides WoA institutions, local scholars and librarians a few opportunities to learn and share various aspects of library services and programs in Korea and in the U.S. among themselves.

This e-mail outreach service sends the official texts of transcripts and articles from the U.S. government and various think-tanks as they are published.
Free USG Publications (Print and Online)
Free publications on various topics originally developed and produced by the U.S. government. Many of these publications are ideal for use as college textbooks or research material.

Topical Information Package
We provide information packages related to outreach programs involving the Embassy. Packages include fact sheets, significant USG documents, and links. Visit IRC to get information packages.
