IV Fee


No Personal Checks are accepted and all fees are non-refundable. Fees for other Embassy services, such as immigrant visas and U.S. passports, are payable at the U.S. Embassy. Only nonimmigrant visa processing fees (including K visa) are paid through Shinhan Bank.

How to Pay

  • Cash in U.S. dollars or the Korean won-equivalent. A combination of U.S. dollars and Korean won will not be accepted.

K1/K3 visas $131

How to Pay

  • The processing fee for K1/K3 visas is US$131 and it can be paid at any Shinhan Bank branch within Korea. The processing fee is payable only in Korean won and is based on the daily exchange rate at the bank. The bank will give each applicant a receipt. This fee receipt must be submitted with each application at the time of your interview. K1/K3 applicants cannot pay the processing fee at the Embassy.
