U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affaires Apologizes for Tragic Accident 

June 10, 2005 

U.S. Embassy, Seoul, Republic of Korea – The Charge d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Mark C. Minton, extends his most sincere apologies and deepest sympathy to the family and friends of a Korean woman killed this afternoon in a tragic accident with a U.S. military vehicle.
The entire staff of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul offer their condolences to the family and friends of the Korean citizen whose life was claimed by this terrible accident.
The Embassy is in close contact with U.S. Forces Korea and understands that they are
cooperating fully with the Korean National Police as they investigate this tragedy.
