Street Address: 32 Sejong-no, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

The U.S. Embassy is located across the street from Sejong Cultural Center and next to the Ministry of Information and Communication/KT Building on subway line 5 (purple), exit 2. The Embassy is about a 15-minute taxi ride from the Itaewon area, depending on the traffic.

Please be aware that we DO NOT have a parking lot available for the public.

IF YOU ARE VISITING

  • American Citizen Services (ACS)
    Please use the front entrance of the Embassy, which is located on the main road. American Citizen Services is open to the public on Monday through Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m., and on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday  from 1:30-3:30 p.m. We are closed on Wednesday afternoons and on both U.S. and Korean holidays. Telephone inquiries are accepted daily from 9:00-10:00 a.m.and 3:30-4:30 p.m.

    In the event of an emergency, please call the Embassy switchboard at 82-2-397-4114.
  • Immigrant Visa (IV) branch or Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS)
    Please use the side entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor.
  • Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) branch for an interview
    Please use the side entrance and proceed the the 1st floor. Spouses and children of USFK members, emergency applications and correction cases may go directly to Window #1 on the 1st floor.
