American Citizen Services Offered in Busan on November 22-23

On November 22-23, 2004, the U.S. Embassy will offer some consular services for American citizens in Busan. These services will be provided from 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m. at the American Corner Busan, in the Busan Metropolitan Simin Library, 3rd Floor Conference Room, San #51-1, Choeup-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan City; phone: (051) 810-8287; website: www.siminlib.go.kr.
The following services will be provided: performing notarials; accepting applications for first-time passports, renewal passports, amendments to passports, reports of birth abroad, registration with the Embassy and new and replacement social security cards; providing information on living in Korea, absentee voting, filing income taxes and filing for social security benefits. Persons requesting services should bring their U.S. passports.
