U.S. Embassy Seoul Holds Open House at Busan American Corner

On Thursday, June 19, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, U.S. Embassy Seoul will hold an open house at the Busan Metropolitan Simim Library American Corner. This public event aims to further promote the American Corner that was opened in 2004. English teachers from schools around the area are invited to attend.
American Presence Post Busan Acting Consul Min Chang will give congratulatory remarks and a speech to participants. There will also be a presentation by Ms. Betsy Fowler on English materials which can be used as classroom tools by English teachers, as well as more information on using the English Teaching Forum publication as a teaching aid. Functions and programs of the American Corner will be explained by Regional Program Assistant John Lee, while books, films, magazines, and American Corner materials will be presented to the library by Busan American Corner Coordinator, Nam Hyun-young.
