U.S. Department of Commerce Under Secretary for International Trade Visits Seoul

U.S. Department of Commerce Under Secretary for International Trade Franklin L. Lavin is visiting Seoul, Korea from July 22-25. 

During his visit he will meet with senior Korean government and industry officials and will discuss bilateral trade issues, including the KORUS Free Trade Agreement as well as business opportunities between the United States and Korea.  On July 24, the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AmCham Korea) will host a luncheon where Under Secretary Lavin will speak on "Enhancing the U.S.-Korea Bilateral Trade Relationship."  Mr. Lavin will also visit the Daimler Chrysler car showroom on July 25, where he will have the opportunity to see American cars for sale in Korea.
