Pulitzer Prize-winning Poet Natasha Trethewey Visits Korea

U.S. Pulitzer prize-winning poet Natasha Trethewey is in Korea April 27 to May 1 to give lectures about American poetry and read from her award-winning poetry book, Native Guard.  Dr. Trethewey is in Korea at the invitation of the American Embassy as a guest American cultural speaker.

A professor of English and the holder of the Phillis Wheatley Distinguished Chair in Poetry at Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Trethewey will be giving guest lectures at universities, including Yonsei University.  She will also be speaking to the American Studies Association of Korea and to the Korea America Educational Commission (Fulbright).
