U.S. Agricultural Trade Office Welcomes, “U.S. Seafood Exhibitors” to the Busan International Seafood Expo:

On November 13-15, 2008, the Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) of the U.S. Embassy will anchor a U.S. pavilion at the annual Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo (BIFSE). 

The U.S. pavilion at BISFE 2008 will feature cooking demonstrations by Chef John Maxwell, who will offer show attendees a chance to taste the distinctive flavor of seafood from the Southern region of the United States.

South Korea is the fourth largest market for U.S. fish and seafood products accounting for about $132 million of U.S. exports in 2007.  A variety of U.S. exhibitors representing U.S. seafood producers from the Atlantic Coast of the United States will be present at BIFSE 2008 to exhibit their products and discuss business opportunities with interested attendees.  U.S. exhibitors will include representatives from J & R Seafood, Inc. (www.jrseafood.com), Wanchese Fish Company (www.wanchese.com) and L.D. Amory & Co., Inc.
