Apply Early for Summer Visas to U.S.

May 20, 2003

The U.S. Department of State reminds applicants planning to travel to the U.S. this summer to apply early for nonimmigrant visas (NIV). The high volume of applications processed during the summer may result in travel delays for last-minute applicants.

Applicants are reminded to provide complete, accurate information on the DS-156 and DS-157 application forms, present proper and legitimate supporting documents, visa fee, and a correct, recent photograph on a white background.

Please see more detailed instructions and downloadable forms on our website at http://www.asktheconsul.org/ (English) or http://www.usavisas.org/ (Korean).
